Photography Stroll at Umstead Park

photography stroll

William B. Umstead State Park is one of our favorite spots to visit anytime we want to walk in nature.  A Photography Stroll at this park was the perfect opportunity to get more familiar with the place while learning a thing or two about nature photography.

The park’s official photographer and a state park guide first provided a group of people with useful information including some facts about Umstead Park.  Did you know that Umstead State Park is one of the thirty largest urban city parks in the world?  Another notable quote to takeaway from his introduction was,

The best camera, is the one that you have with you.

Bring your camera or smartphone, go out in nature (even your backyard) and take photos.  It will help you get familiar with the surroundings to boost your observational skills and attention to small details.  Which is really the whole point when it comes to nature photography right!
